The 6 Week Challenge – Coming soon

Challenging ourselves to achieve personal and group goals with fun, support and encouragement.

Somer Valley FM’s 6 Week Challenge is back and promises to be our biggest one yet. Launching on Saturday 12 January 2019 the sixth challenge is themed on the Five Ways To Wellbeing; Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning and Give.

The idea was originally the brainchild of Somer Valley FM volunteer Sue Roberts, “I tend to put things off and I needed a way to help me finish goals I set myself for the year. Doing challenges with a group of others makes us accountable and that encourages us all to get there.”

Launching this year’s challenge Dom Chambers said, “What I love about this is we get loads of creative, and even quirky ideas as well as the more usual new year health kicks. All are to be encouraged in equal measure and we have a great team in place to support the challenges as they progress.”

Tune in to our new challenge pop up show Friday’s at 12. We’ll also have regular updates on Women’s Power Hour, Wednesday’s at 1pm and Rob’s Eclectic Selection from 10am on Thursday’s.
