Listen Up! Somer Valley FM airs more new shows

Somer Valley FM, the local radio station for North East Somerset, based in Midsomer Norton, continues to extend its broadcast schedules, with six new and extended shows!

There will be three new live Brunch shows each week from 10am. On Mondays Debbie Chatting will host The Great Outdoors Brunch Show, Tuesdays is Clyve Aguard, presenting Clyve’s Soulful Brunch, and Thursdays Rob Bayly broadcasts The Bayly Brunch.

These three presenters bring a wealth of radio experience, and winning personalities. Expect the new Brunch shows to be filled with guests, interviews, local features and songs through from heritage classics to the Top 40.On Saturdays two current shows extend by another hour. Storm’s Storm in the Valley starts at 11am, as she continues to showcase local artists along with songs that inspire her, and Paul Mallon’s Soulforce begins at 5pm, continuing his theme of classic and funky soul tunes. It will be a treat to have longer shows from them both.

For Sundays, it’s the return of a classic rock show. Expect genuine axe heroes and classic tracks to be played, as Tony Heare hosts Ignition, from 8pm.

I’ve wanted to offer a daily live Brunch show for North East Somerset since I took over. We’ll have four weekdays covered, only one to go! And with extended shows on Saturday, and a proper rock show on a Sunday, we’re making strides in improving our variety and quality of shows available to listen live, or on demand.
