Paulton Post office to move

Written by on 24/09/2019

The Post Office is planning to relocate Paulton Post Office to The Radstock Co-operative Paulton, to safeguard service to the area.

Post Office services will be provided from a Post Office counter alongside the retail counter.

The opening hours will be Monday to Friday: 9am – 5.30pm; Saturday: 9am – 12.30pm.

As we reported HERE, the current post office has resigned.

The new branch is scheduled to open on Friday 25 October at 1pm.

A spokesperson for the Radstock Co-operative Society said: “We are pleased to be able to accommodate a Post Office counter within our Paulton store ensuring the local community continues to have access to much need services.”

Adam Williams Post Office Multiples Account Executive, said: “We are delighted to safeguard Post Office service to the area. We are confident that this vibrant new-style Post Office at the heart of the local community will meet customer needs.”

The Post Office is now inviting customers and interested parties to give their comments on the move in a public consultation and we are looking for feedback about accessibility, local community issues and anything that we can do to make life easier for our customers.

The consultation will close on 5 November 2019. Customers can share their views during the consultation online at postofficeviews.co.uk with the branch code 465511.

Submissions can also be made via email to comments@postoffice.co.uk, by post to Freepost YOUR COMMENTS, or by telephone 03452 66 01 15 or Textphone 03457 22 33 55.
