Somer Valley FM’s manager and director Dom Chambers is presenting a special programme from 10am. He said, “What ever the post Covid world looks like we know that the impact of the lockdown will mean that mental health will be the predominating social issue of our times. We have still much to get through and right now we need to be looking at how we remain socially connected while maintaining physical distance. Local radio stations like Somer Valley FM have a massive role to play in this.”
When the Duke of Cambridge leads the special message to raise awareness of mental health issues at 10:59 listeners are invited to post on social media using the hashtag #mentalhealthminute.
