Written by Somer Valley FM on 01/06/2024
Somer Valley FM is the voice of the region where locals can speak about their fundraising plans that will help benefit others in the community. The Rifles Regimental Trust’s MISSION HAM & JAM is fundraising for Care for Casualties by military veterans walking from the Normandy Landing Beaches to Pegasus Bridge for the 80th anniversary of D-Day on 6th June 2024.
Organiser Paulton resident Sharon Thorner and Richard Davey came into Somer Valley FM to tell Dom Chambers about their plans to raise £50,000.

Outstanding effort from a fine body of men and of course their ladies. Still time to donate. Proud to be a Rifles veteran and have such an incredible charity. Thanks SFM
